The BDS curriculum at ODC is based on a blend of British and Indian BDS curricula and is designed to meet the respective academic and professional standards of both as specified by the UK General Dental Council (GDC) and the Dental Council of India (DCI). This has been verified and endorsed by the International Advisory Panel which includes experts from both India and the UK amongst others. The intention is for the BDS curriculum at ODC to be contemporary and to evolve in keeping with international arena. However, the ODC curriculum has also been adapted to local conditions and is therefore an original and unique curriculum specifically designed to suit the needs of the Sultanate of Oman and its students.
